My Story

A long, long time ago... In a galaxy far away... 🙂
I used to look at the stars at night and wonder the meaning of life.
There were times when nothing used to make sense. Why are we here, What's the purpose of my life - these questions used to bother me.
Luckily, my father used to meditate with a spiritual master. Deeply rooted in science background and driven by logic, I used to question his practice and master. After I graduated from my engineering college with a great job offer, I realized there is something more to life that I am missing out. I wanted to explore meditation, go inwards and explore what life has to offer. I stumbled upon the Art of Living program and immediately decided to sign up.
I was beautifully amazed by the program. Neither in school nor in college, I learnt these techniques to manage my own mind! I learnt the simple principles and wisdom to navigate my life with much more ease. One of the best part of the program was the rhythmic breathing technique called The Sudarshan Kriya. Just within 3 days of practicing the technique, I noticed a sense of calm, peace, clarity in my heart and mind. Within days, I started experiencing tremendous benefits - I was more energetic, I started taking more responsibilities at work and in my community, my relationships with others deepened, I found my purpose of life!

Way Forward

I started to volunteer for The Art of Living programs and eventually did the Teacher's Training program to bring this light and energy to many more lives. Since 2015, I have taught these techniques to thousands of people from different facets of life including community leaders, corporate professionals, students, housewives, etc. The transformation I see in the life of each individual every time I teach these programs inspires me to continue teaching and bring this wisdom and techniques to many others.

In my classes, I integrate the things that I have learnt on my journey with the things I have learnt from my teachers to bring transformation into your life.

The Inspiration

"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." - Laozi

My story is incomplete without talking about my teacher and master Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar - the epitome of love and wisdom.

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a humanitarian, spiritual leader and an ambassador of peace and human values. Through his life and work, Gurudev has inspired millions around the world with a vision of a stress-free, violence-free world. He has designed programs that provide techniques and tools to live a deeper, more joyous life and has established nonprofit organizations that recognize the human identity beyond the boundaries of gender, race, nationality, and religion. He is the founder of the Art of Living Foundation and the International Association for Human Values (IAHV).

One of Gurudev’s unique contributions to the process of self‐development is the Sudarshan Kriya®, a powerful breathing technique that facilitates physical, mental, emotional and social well‐being. It incorporates specific natural rhythms of the breath, harmonizing the body, mind and emotions.
